Texas High School B-Ball Team Wins 100-0
I saw a story today about a girls high school basketball team that won a game by the score of 100-0. As you can imagine this drew some criticism from some parents and attendants of the game who felt that the winning team should have taken it easy on their opponents. Now officials from The Covenant School,which won the game, are asking that they forfeit the game because it was won without honor. I understand sportsmanship, but it you won the game take the win. I was not there so I don’t know if they were unsportsmanlike in winning, but I don’t think they should hang their heads because of the score.
