Serena Williams Wins her fourth Wimbledon

Serena Williams beat Vera Zvonareva in straight sets, 6-3 6-2, to win her fourth Wimbledon Ladies singles championship.  This was Serena’s 13th Major victory.  She really dominated this match and was rarely challenged.  Congratulations to Serena Williams, the best woman’s tennis player of my time.

The Chicago Blackhawks won the 2010 Stanley Cup after a long fought series with the Philadelphia Flyers.  The Blackhawks won in OT of game six on a shot that didn’t even look like it went in the net, but it did and the Hawks, and their fans, erupted with joy.  You can read the full story HERE.

Serena Williams swimsuit malfunction

I know may of us admire Serena Williams for her outstanding tennis abilities.  Others of us just admire her.  She is a woman of many talents.    One of her talents is being  a fashion designer.  I hope this swimsuit was not one of her own creations because as you can see from the picture it failed her.  Hey, we’ve all had our embarrassing moments, it’s just that hers are often captured on film.

I saw this photo on MSNBC.  I had to wonder, what goes through a persons mind at this moment.  I’m sure it’s something along the lines of  “Oh Sh!t, I gotta get out of here”.   Then again it might happen so fast that you don’t realize what just happened.  Anybody out there have any experience with this.  Please leave your comments.
