Tiger Woods had a bad day at the British Open
When was the last time you saw a golf story be the lead on CNN.com. Well it happened today. For only the second time in his professional career, Tiger Woods, missed the cut at a major tournament. I am shocked as is probably most of the golf world, which is why it is making front page news. I’m sure that TNT and ABC are just sick that Tiger will not be playing this weekend. That usually means the viewership will drop. However, there is a ray of hope that might make things interesting. Tom Watson, at the age of 59, is actually tied for the lead in the tournament. If he can keep it up that will be the golf story heard around the world for the next few weeks. Let’s see what happens.
